The Director’s of Toughness was an awesome campaign that Columbia Sportswear, agencies and team’s all brain stormed up. Basically, it allowed two lucky individuals the chance to travel the world and test gear in some of the world’s most remote areas. I had the chance to launch the look and feel of the first season as well as a few episodes and all the bio’s. All in all, I ended up in some of the craziest locations, I could have ever imagined (Iceland, Scotland, Toronto, and more)and wow, was it a blast..

Alaska is the last great American frontier, it’s extremely vast and diverse. 5 months ago I was able to film/explore in and around the Knik Glacier and then we traveled north to the Arctic Ocean. It was one of the most surreal experiences I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing. These clips are all shot from my first major adventure with Columbia Sportswear, Shot on a 6k Red Digital Cinema Camera Company Dragon Sensor.
